Treat 126/103 and 127/103 as separate choices — Display Guide

Treat 126/103 and 127/103 as separate choices
The M6a Pikachu ex catalogue contains neighbouring references, including 126/103 and 127/103. A number that differs by one is still a different product reference. Check the number printed on your card, then compare the scene on the matching product photographs. Neither the Pikachu name nor the ex label settles the artwork match by itself.
Your next matching check
Choose between the numbered galleries before choosing a frame format. Keep the exact reference visible when asking about sleeves or the holder you plan to use.
126/103 or 127/103? Compare the card before the frame
These two catalogue photographs give you a practical way to separate the references. PCC-002 shows a blue-sky surround with a busy group scene; PCC-018 shows a fireworks backdrop. Use those visible cues to find the right gallery, then read the full number on your own card. A similar colour, the Pikachu name or “ex” alone is not enough to identify the matching display.

| Reference on your card | Catalogue to open | What to compare |
|---|---|---|
| M6a · 126/103 | PCC-002 | The card artwork and its transition into the blue-sky group scene |
| M6a · 127/103 | PCC-018 | The card artwork and its transition into the fireworks scene |
Make three checks in order
- Card identity: read the set mark and full number from the card you intend to display. If the number is obscured, use a clearer photograph before selecting either reference.
- Artwork match: open that product’s full gallery and compare the actual card image with the pictured surround. If your card has a different language or artwork, ask about that exact card instead of assuming the numbered listing covers it.
- Holder choice: note whether the card is raw or enclosed in a PSA or CGC holder, then check the available format and the holder and format guide. The format visible in a catalogue image does not establish that every holder version will fit.
If a marketplace title says 126/103 but the photograph appears to show the other scene, resolve the mismatch with the card seller first. Do not choose a frame by the listing title while ignoring the number printed on the card.
A useful enquiry when one detail is missing
I am considering PCC-002 / PCC-018. My card shows set mark ___ and number ___; its language is ___. It is raw / in a ___ holder. I have attached a clear front photograph and, if relevant, the holder details. Please confirm the matching artwork and available frame format before I choose an option.
Once you have identified 127/103, the 127/103 display guide keeps that reference separate for the next step. This comparison identifies the catalogue presentation; it does not authenticate a card, assess its value or promise protection performance.
Compare the collection
The following guides explore other pikachu scenes & promos entries. Compare their references and scenes separately; shared character names do not establish matching artwork or holder fit.
- Use the pictured scene when a listing is theme-led — Pikachu ex Themed Extended-art Display Frame (PCC-006)
- Choose 127/103 before comparing physical formats — M6a Pikachu ex SAR 127/103 Extended-art Display Frame (PCC-018)
- Check all four positions in the forest arrangement — Pikachu Four-card Forest Extended-art Display Frame (PCC-036)
